The Parkervision Direct2Power™ (d2p™) RF Power Transmitter

Combining the functions of the traditional transmitter and power amplifier into a single unified system, the d2p RF Power Transmitter, results in improved performance and higher efficiency. This decreases the transmit chain footprint and lowers the bill-of-materials for applications such as mobile voice and data terminals and femtocells.

With this approach, RF designers will no longer be forced to choose between performance and efficiency, or reliability and cost, freeing them to design optimized wireless systems.

As implemented in a Silicon Germanium (SiGe) process, the d2p RF Power Transmitter, a universal radio system, is capable of producing any desired modulation, including: GSM, EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA, HSUPA, LTE, TD-SCDMA and m-WiMAX with industry leading efficiency.

The Parkervision Direct2Data™ (d2d™) RF Energy-Sampling Receiver

As a practical realization of an RF Analog-to-Digital Converter, the d2d RF Energy-Sampling Receiver (ESR) provides an efficient, compact CMOS solution for demodulating RF waveforms. Using wide-aperture subharmonic sampling and applying matched-filter theory, the ESR features high sensitivity, high dynamic range, wide instantaneous bandwidth and a broad tuning range in a compact implementation.

As implemented in a CMOS process, the d2d RF Energy-Sampling Receiver capable of demodulating any desired waveform, including: GSM, EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA, HSUPA, LTE, TD-SCDMA and m-WiMAX with industry leading sensitivity and accuracy. Anti-aliasing filters, error correction and calibration are combined with digital FIR filters for programmable channel selection and filter shaping. DigRF and proprietary baseband interfaces are available.

Finally, d2d technology complements d2p in a series of Universal RF Power Transceiver engines for highly accurate, highly efficient multimode wireless applications.
